Having always been rooted in the rich narratives of Nordic folklore, Klaus Haapaniemi adds another facet to his design repertoire with a new collection of childrenswear, in partnership with designer and denim specialist, Tiina Salmela.

  Adults can revisit the limitless imagination of a child perhaps only through storybooks and fables. The artist of fantastical worlds Klaus Haapaniemi, inspired by the children’s perspective and timelessness of play created a collection for small giants that invites them further into the fantasy of fairytales and northern nature.

  Autumn Winter17 collection Tale of the Rabbit launches in September. Each piece is completely machine washable and uses only organic materials. Consisting of a casual collection of day dresses, t-shirts and denim for boys and girls in the warmer months, and in November addition of festive printed denim dress, skirt and a boy’s shirt and pyjama set for Holiday season. The charming prints and woodland characters have been designed in the iconic Haapaniemi style that has become synonymous to the studio.

Spring Summer 2018 will be available in March.
